Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Project planning, Product cost management
  • Product life cycle management and processes
  • Effective communication & Presentation skills
  • Experience in development of electro mechanical devices
  • Expertise in CAD /CAE tools like Pro engineer/Ansys/Tolerance stack up software tools
  • Exposure to PDM, PLM , Mat lab
  • Development exposure to New product development, Value engineering, New product/project scoping, Quality engineering, Application design of low voltage power components/Final distribution products
  • Thorough knowledge of fundamentals of electrical/mechanical Design and subsequent suitability of designs for meeting Manufacturability is required
  • Design and development of 4 bar mechanisms
  • Expertise in product design using Pro Engineer/Tolerance stack up
  • Exposure to structural, electromagnetic and electro thermal analysis
  • Exposure to plastics, ferrous and nonferrous materials and processing
  • Experience in design for plastic injection moulding
  • Experience in modern manufacturing techniques
  • Exposure to 6 SIGMA/DFSS tools is preferred
  • Knowledge rapid prototyping techniques
  • Knowledge of relevant engineering standards for engineering drawing and design
  • Sound knowledge of engineering materials
  • Knowledge of usability factors and human interaction
  • Exposure product standards IEC 60947/IEC60898/IEC61008/IEC61009/NFPA70



Desired Candidate Profile

  • Good Leadership skills and experience in working with Cross functional teams
  • Min 2 years of Design and Development experience from MCCB/MCB/RCCB/RCBO/ACB or low voltage circuit breakers
